// increased outer – and inner awareness (proprio – and interoception)

// prevent injury through caused by lack of body awareness and movement integrity

// detoxify the body through movement and a purifying, centering breath

// improve mobility (flexibility + strength), circulation, metabolism, immune function and energy

// get leaner muscle and a more defined frame

// experience a feeling of overall lightness and ease

‘Yoga should not be a training for body control; on the contrary it must bring freedom to the body.’

WHERE SCIENCE MEETS THE SOUL

fascia *  – ‘the biological fabric that holds us together’ (Tom Myers) , vinyāsa – movement and breath, wave, cycle, gradual progression, sequential movement evolving into a continuous flow creating a movement meditation, art, variation, yoga – union, interconnectedness, freedom

Fascia Flow

In a Fascia Vinyasa® Yoga class, you will move through purposefully sequenced three-dimensional patterns of spiraling, gyrating, arching, folding, leaning, pulsing, twisting, squatting, lunging, sensing, changing the angle, tempo, and intensity to involve more of your myofascia.

FVY offers tools for bringing the natural flow of fascia and life into your yoga practice, and from your practice into your life.

We use a variety of progressive movements to melt and awaken stuck areas, especially in the back, hips, neck, chest and legs to allow smooth transitions and subtle inflections. You will learn to transition mindfully with control, and momentum. The breath is your foundation.

In FVY we move with least effort, we are in the flow, changing the sense of place, time and perhaps of self.

A deep yoga experience not only gives us more mobility, balance and fluidity, it also opens us up to a different way of being open for the new; a new way of thinking, of being inquisitive and free.

It’s not surprising that yogis are interested in different bodywork modalities such as massage, reflexology, Bowen, Structural Integration and the like. Whatever we do, yogis know, the key is variety. Our body, mind and soul respond exceptionally positive to change.
